Individual lessons
Sign up for in-person or online piano lessons focused on classical & popular music styles for all ages and levels. Learn proper piano techniques, music reading, theory, and pieces based on your level.
Beginner
These lessons will introduce you to playing piano, basic music theory, reading sheet music and preparing for recitals. Pieces are drawn from popular and classical sources. Through this, you’ll develop a joy for music while also building discipline and goals.
Advanced
These lessons are great for those with a background in piano looking to further their craft and perform. Together, we will dive deeper into piano techniques, artistry & musicianship. Preparing you for exams, competitions and auditions.
Recitals and exams
There are two main recitals at the end of each term (December, June). I encourage students to participate. Performance is always a great way to build up confidence.
I also prepare students for RCM exams that are held throughout the year, as well as festivals and competitions.
Composition and Theory
If you have a real passion for creativity, these lessons will teach you harmony, song structure, and many other skills that will enable you to develop your ideas into a score/sheet music and compose your own music and arrangements. This extends to the digital world with recording & mixing techniques.
I also offer preparation for RCM theory & history exams.
